Front quarter panels

My front quarter panels are pieced together. The previous owner did a "Get it on the road" kind of job. But I would like to put new, one piece quarter panels back on. Wolfburg West only has panels for the 68 model. Does anybody know of mismatch consequences if I were to get quarters for a later model like the 68? I want to keep my hood, fenders, apron, etc.....
