My wife and I bought our first Beetle, a 1966, in Austin, TX in June of 2008. We flew to Austin and drove the Beetle back to Birmingham, AL. I have just recently found this site. There are some great posts on here and it is nice to have a '66 specific site. I look forward to being a member and learning from all of you.
