Rear carpet tack strip?

Rear carpet tack strip?

I'm working on my '66 vert. In the rear cargo area (behind the rear seat) is there supposed to be a rear tack strip for the carpet? My vert doesn't currently have one, but I have a sedan donor piece that does have it. Should I install the tack strip?
