My new 66 from Malta

Hi there to everyone, I'm really happy I found this forum, it's really great. I'm 21 years old and i come from the island of Malta in Europe. The VW scene here is not as big as other countries but the few people there are, are certainly passionate about it. I finally got my self a 66 : ) I already have a 73 1303 but i always wanted a pre 67 car. The 66 is not in the best shape ever but it only has some surface rust, nothing out of this world, but I'm really happy with it. Currently its not running, engine needs to be rebuilt. I hope I will get it running till the summer so, I can enjoy it is much as possible in the sun : ) Sorry for the crappy pics, I will get better ones for sure.

Love your new car and a VW towing a VW. Classy! Welcome to the forum. I'm working on my engine as well. Hopefully will have it up and running by our first local cruise-in on May 1.

Hehe, people don't stop staring when they see a beetle towing another beetle,its so funny :D I'm hoping to get the engine ready by June, so I can go to the meeting we are organizing on world beetle day. Goodluck with the engine rokemester and thank you for the welcome Alex :D

Thanks for your welcome guys. Since i last posted the car has had little done unfortunately. Work and school are taking most of my time :( All i did is take out the headliner, because it was all torn and started cleanig the inside. Engine is still on hold
