I received my 1966 Bettle Christmas Day. Found this site while searching for info on her. Serial number is 116 998456. I think that is a high number must be close to the last of the 66's. Someone had started on her before and took all her fenders off and piled them up inside. Have a lot of questions so I'll look for the right forum before asking. Will be keeping her as stock as I can. It has a key switch on the steering column with some German words on it. Is this a Euro Model? Opps there I go asking questions before I finish introducing myself. Hope to meet other VW owners in NW Florida. Love this site.
