This is my 1966 VW in Bahama Blue.
It is a daily driver. Runs and performs beautifully. About five years ago I saw it sitting forlornly in front of my postman's house not being driven. I kept after him until he agreed to sell it to me.
He said it would not start. I've owned several type 1's in the past so I didn't think it would be a problem. After adjusting the points she fired right up.
The bug is great for hypermiling. I recently checked my milage and got 33.7 MPG! The best coasting car on the planet.
I added an HHO Cell of my own design and added 3 MPG. Still working on improvements to that. More pictures on my website oNHHO.com

That's a really nice looking car, I'm extremely skeptical of the benefits of the hydrogen system on the mileage figures though. Fair enough if it works, but I'd be disappointed at 33mpg driving on longer journeys! I've got 45 US MPG (nearly 40 UK MPG) from my 1600 engined '66 beetle when I drive it gently!
Still, it's a lovely looking car Do you plan on fitting some clips to the fuel line in the engine bay?

Fuel Line Hose Clamps
Thanks, I've added the hose clamps. Hopefully my car won't go up in flames...
