tried to post this before and cannot tell if it was successful or not.

I mistakenly hooked up the 12v wire to the distributor side of the coil and fried the wires to the condenser, the points. etc.

does this do any damage to the distributor itself or will just replacing the condenser and the points take care of everything.

In my opinion, please feel free to correct me anyone, you should be fine with a new condenser and a pair of points.

Do you have a fuse in the line that powers your coil ? In my experience it is a pretty good idea to have one of those.
