I recently bought my first VW beetle on Jan. 18,2009. It is the pearl white color with red interior. The seats have been changed to white horse hair, like the smell (new). Also the person I bought it from said he changed the engine to a 1600cc and also changed the transmission. I do not know how to differentitate between the sizes yet. So I took the word of the person.
All ready my three year old son has good taste, as he has clamied the car as his.
At age 14 I wanted a Cal looking bug, lowered with rims two tone paint the works.
I am much more pleased to have this original unchooped now. 8)
I bought the VW Bible (How to keep your VW Alive) and have given her a tune up. Compression in the third is a little low so she'll be pampered and given an overhaul, as the previous owner was unsure of actual mileage.

Thanks for the invite. :D
