My '66 was part converted to 12v when i got it as a rolling shell. I decided to restore it to 6v for authenticity. I'm still looking for a 6v generator correct for the year. I'm currently re-building it's F0 1300 engine and want to put the correct generator, mounting plate, fan and pedestal back on the engine but am not sure if of the correct generator.
Shoulds the generator have the regulator on top of it or not for this year or is the regulator mounted on the firewall?
Should the generator to fan housing mounting plate be flat, or does it have the raised area bit beween the generator and mounting plate?
Will any fan fit?
How can I tell if the fan belt pulley is right for a 6v
How can I tell the right pedestal for 6v generator.
Does anyone have some nice photos of an original 1300 SP F0 engine set-up they could share with me?
