The cars running better in the sense it is smoother and no missing when cold. The only thing is it seems a little choked up, the exhaust is black, is iyt easy to adjust the mixture?

I recently fitted an oil bath filter to replace the chrome aftyer market one the previous owner fitted. Ive fitted the warm air hose and the oil breather pipe etc.
The cars running better in the sense it is smoother and no missing when cold. The only thing is it seems a little choked up, the exhaust is black, is iyt easy to adjust the mixture?
