window build up

Post by bill hauck »

any one know the best place to get window components?? I have gotten new felts (for the 66 and my 73) froe MAM and CIP1 and found them to be of kind of poor quality. Same for the inside scrappers (on the 73 I was able to re-use the originals: no comparison to the aftermarket)

would like some highly flexible long window felts for easy install.

still working on the wiring.

Hi Bill! Here's a link to Wolfsburgwest's window components:

I've never been disappointed in anything I've purchased from them.

Hiya Bill,

The inner window scraper is the same for '65 - '68 models:
part#: 111837475A (left) and 111837476A (right)

The outside scraper fits '65 - '77 models:
part#: 113853321 (left), 113853322 (right)

Note: The channel felt for the vent wing is different from the channel felt for the window (window channel felt is larger).

John's link shows all this but I thought if you were sourcing used parts that might come in handy. John's link also confirms this.

Best of luck!
