John Muir's voice describing engine sounds

Post by SeeBlauKafer »

Hey I found this cool website that hosts audio clips of John Muir (author of How to Keep your Volkswagen Alive - A Manual of Step by Step Procedures for the Compleat Idiot).

It's neat to be able to connect the voice with the many times I've read the book.

Please - click and enjoy ... he even ends with his own signoff "Love and Good Roads". What a guy.

(Once there - scroll down to the "Engine Noises" section)

I don't have my Muir book with me at the moment, but I seem to recall an offer on the back page for a tape of "engine sounds" from John Muir Publications? I vaguely remember this.

I'm guessing those audio clips are originally from that tape.
