Here's my '66 Beetle...Herbie the Love Bug! Previous owner did a great job of upgrading the 1300 engine to a 1600, converting it from 6 to 12 volts, and installing new floor pans!
I have set it up to flat tow behind the RV with the wiring going directly to the Bug's lights. Works perfectly!
It's a fun car...reminds me of the '72 I learned to drive on a couple of decades ago.
I still have the original 1300 6 volt engine if anyone needs one.

Welcome to the Forum! I'd hang onto the original engine if I were you! A Matching Engine is a rarity these days!
