newbie/OLDIE

WOW. both a "newbie AND OLDIE".
last month i hit EIGHTY!!! (not MPH tho....).
on 30May21 i bought a 1966 VW Beetle. 1300cc engine, nice body (wish mine still was!!), nice interior. altho electrical gremlins present and accounted for! (no lights, turn sigs, wipers, horn). orig 6V, fires right up and runs good. (even stops!!). about 30 years (or more) ago i owned 3 bugs & 1 Karmann Ghia. so was able to buy this and i KNOW it will be giving me more "pleasure" than any woman can---and CHEAPER TOO!!
have ordered 2 books/manuals so i won't be a complete dummy, and looking to buy/get/own a 6V charger (just in case).
Located N.E. Florida
(not able to figure out HOW to insert a dumb photo of my bug)
stay safe
