Wrist pin part number 1300

Post by 1300 »

Does anyone know the part number for the 1300 wrist pin? My part book lists the same number 113 107 411 for 40hp and 1300. I have a set of German pistons and cylinders with rusty pins and looking for new ones. Casey

Not sure if this will help, but I have bought parts from these guys before and they are pretty good.

I'm no expert, but I looked it up and came
up with 311 105 431A as the part number.
Fits 1300-1600cc engines.

Thanks. 1300 and 1600 use different wrist pins. The 1600 are longer due to bigger piston diameter. 85.5 for 1600 and 77mm for 1300. I bought a set of 1600 wrist pins a few years ago and had a machine shop cut them to correct length for 1300. Labor rate was more than the price of the wrist pins! I may have go that route again if no luck. Casey

Might try calling Bughaus to see if they have them in 77mm length.

If not, I would think that if you are careful you could shorten them yourself.
