Anyone have an original headlining - pics wanted!

Post by tofufi »

Hi folks,

I'm restoring a '66 Beetle, and have got to the stage of getting someone to fit the headlining (one of two jobs on the car I won't do myself!).

The trim shop has asked if I can supply some photos of how the headlining should be fitted around the tops of the A pillars at the windscreen - I don't suppose anyone out there would be kind and take a few photos of theirs?

Thanks,
Jim :)

These pictures were taken at night with a flash. It will be a number of days before I can send better pictures. Maybe someone else can provide better pictures.
First picture is of the left side, taken from outside the car with the left door open.
Second picture is of the right side taken from inside the car.
