Stock Carburetor

Post by Seibert66 »

Hello,
I would like to have a confirmation that a SOLEX 30PICT-1 without power circuit would be the "stock" carburetor for the original 1300 engine (F0771931) that I currently have on my bug. I'm in the process of purchasing a carburetor and I wanna make sure I choose the one that is period correct.
Thank you

The PICT1 was a multi-year use carb and is different (US models) from 66 to 67. This article explains the difference very well:
