Last night installed a retrosound model two radio in to my wife's 66 Beetle.

cool! Getting ready to install mine this weekend. What speakers did you use and where did you mount them? I can't get my head around that.

I only installed a single dual voice RetroSound VW-B62 speaker behind the dash.
I am thinking about installing a 2nd speaker in the passenger kick panel. Trying to keep it looking stock.

At some low end base frequency this larger speaker mounted on the dash can cause a little bit of metal rattle sound. But its a 50 year old car so a little bit of rattle is fine.
