hi there

just found this site and signed straight up!!

I'm Alex, i'm 32 and have had my Ruby Red '66 1300 for 12 years.

Now restored and how I always wanted the car I won't be selling it anytime soon!! Give me a few hours and I'll get some pics and history up... nice site!

Thanks Alex - and WELCOME ABOARD! Great to have you and your Ruby Red 66 a part of our community. I can't wait to see the pictures! So you were 20 when you got your Beetle - I'm guessing that had to be one of your first, if not your first, car. I'm sure you have a ton of stories you could tell about the last 12 years with the Beetle!

The car was my second car, although I now have a modern daily driver as I drive over 20000 miles a year for work, I sold a perfectly good modern car to buy the '66 and never looked back

and it was my daily for 5 years. It's pampered a bit now and see's weekends usage mainly, 40000+ miles since I bought it
