Will earlier hubcaps

Fit on the 66 stock rims? I'm talking about those hubcaps that stick out I think they are called smoothies.

I do have one to try. My stock rims are mostly rusty. These chrome replacement wide 5 slotted wheels have clips on them. Perhaps they are repro Porsche?

Not sure how to tell, though I thought somebody put that information on the samba not too long ago.

I guess I'll just have to try it and see.

If they have clips, the older domed hubcaps will fit. '66 hubcaps fit nubs on the rim.
