I have to say that when I bought Frieda, I was not a big fan of the color, but as time passed and the time came to get the body work and paint done, I did not have the heart to paint her another color. She looks great and the Sea Sand has really grown on me. I never really see this color at a lot of the car shows. It seems to be pretty rare.

Thanks! I think she turned out really nicely. Looking forward to bug a palooza in Joliet, IL this year with my car club, Harsh Winters Volkswagen!

Nice work!!! Sea Sand would be the colour choice for me, too ....if I hadn't had the Bahama Blue 66 back in the day. How did you do the spare tire VW logo??

I purchased a VW Split Window Van Logo (front) from JBUGS. It comes in just the base metal obviously. When they went to shoot the car with the paint, I had them do the logo as well for display purposes. I just hang it from the spare tire cover with a picture frame hook for now.
