Horn Button

Post by Airporn »

I recently bought a GTV Steering wheel that came with the usual GTV horn button.

Does anyone know the type of button shown on the right hand side of the photo? Where we can purchase them?

I particularly like the one with the lion but I'm sure that's one I'll need to save up for..

Thanks!

The lion logo is actually a Peugeot car company logo. This particular stylized lion logo version was used by the French car manufacturer from about 1950 through to the early 1960's. There' a couple of similar one on ebay right now, called 'VDM Petri" that have asking prices ranging from $129 to $1500. I don't know if it would be historically (or politically) correct to put a French horn button on a German car ....???

Thank you for that info Digger89L I'll stick to my first choice of the Wolfsberg Crest :)

However, what do you can that type of horn button? The one I have is a little conical with the Woflsberg logo about 1 1/2" offset as opposed to a flatter circular button[/quote]
