I have been into VW's for about 6 years . Over the last 4 years I fixed up a 69 tintop camper to use in my retirement . I found the "finished" bus too slow to drive comfortably on the highway to go camping . I found photos of a " sedan delivery " made out of a bug and some bus parts...This would give me a personal camper that would keep up with traffic . On the Samba website I found a 66 that someone had started to restore . I bought a powder coated completely restored rolling chassis including new tires and custom wheels that had a stripped 66 body AND a Florida title . Sorry purists but I am turning this 66 into a "sedan delivery " . If you go to samba website you can follow along in the 57-68 forum....search " building a sedan delivery ".......Thankyou John for putting this website together....I found it through the Samba..on someones byline
