hey guys hows it going i have been reading alot of stuff on here but have yet to find any info on the blue box or its replacement. if anyone has a link or something please post it up.

The samba is a great place to find a used blue box - and it may or may not work, it just depends. There is an aftermarket solution like the one listed here for the 1966 Beetle. I have used this one in the past with success.

try this if you have converted to 12 volts:
