Go ahead and laugh...

Post by Cheryl G »

I thought you all would get a kick out of this...

I am 48, hubby is 51.

My 66 Beetle is Bahama Blue.

Left blinker sticks and I don't remember to lift up the lever.

Now for the funny...

Cop hubby knows asked him if he had a funky blue Beetle in his garage.
Hubby said not right now.
Cop asked what do you mean not right now?
Hubby said 'cause my wife is driving it. 8)

Cop said: "Your wife is that old lady that rides around with the left blinker on!?!?"

Hubby said...Yeah

Cop said .. That old lady is your wife?

Hubby said ... Yeah, and she is a LOT older than me! 8)

Cop said...I am going to pull her over just to tell her what you said.

Now I can add this to my list of "reputations".

Hi Jan! But I feel 60 anyway! I think I'm always a year ahead of myself - and you are up really really late or really really early!

Hi ya John! Nah, me up late? Do you know me or something? That was like 1: AM when I posted, I think my time is wrong in Profile setting.

You will feel differently at 60 than at 50... betcha anything!

Oh sorry, do not want to get of topic here... age is not a technical or mechanical thing now, is it? :haha:

Funny story! It brings up a question for me though. Are the signals supposed to return to the center position after completing a turn? I ask because mine don't.
