I have been a continuous VW owner since 1965. I had a 1961 beetle and married into a 1964 beetle which is now undergoing restoration. The 61 is no more. Recently we picked up a 1966 beetle that has sat outside not running for the last 24 years. It is in remarkably good shape under the circumstances. We want to rebuild it ourselves. It seems to have the original engine and interior. The door panels in almost perfect condition. I will looking forward to getting some help in determining how to go about this process. For example, no keys!! This looks like a great site and we hope to meet some other VW fans.
