I've owned mine for one month, now. The reason I pursued the purchase is that my first car(in 1987), was a 66 Baja Bug, as well. I just had to have another, after all these years. My six year old daughter just loves running around in it, out in the desert.

Back in '85 I flew to Arizona and drove around the desert in my friend's baja. Good times.
