oil everywhere

oil everywhere

Hi all, i am new to site and my 66 is my first vw. Whenever i drive the car oil sprays all over inside of engine lid. I have no idea where from, have investigated but still no further to solving..

Any help greatly appreciated.

Congrats on your car. You should post technical questions in the technical forum.

Is the oil breather hose attached from the oil breather (at the oil cap) to the air cleaner?

If so, it could be leaky oil cooler seals or a leaking crank pulley.
