Kabriolett birthday is March 9th, 1966. So in celebration of her 47th B-Day, decided to give her some new binders & shoes. Here she is getting upgraded Disc brakes up front along with a dual circuit master cylinder for safety. Of course there's a Hurst roll control plumbed into the system as well 8)

With the disc brake upgrade, might as well add some new wheels while I'm at it, right? So grabbed a set of Porsche Mahle Gas Burners

Im located in Sunny Southern California, so of course its always top down weather. But I hate the feeling of the baking sun on my skin for some reason. Besides, after paying sooo much $$$ for the top, Im gonna show it to the world  8)

Just installed a solid Billet Aluminum shift coupler. Adds a much more positive feel when selecting gears. A worth while $40 investment

Rearair, is that coupler an add on or does it replace an existing one?

It's a replacement. Gets rid of the slop from the OEM Urethane coupler for a more positive feel. Drawback is it does send a vibrating noise through the shift rod on street driver cars.

Goes to show if there is something to be dreamed up, somebody will make it.

This looks like a drag only part, because a tranny with stock rubber mounts is likely to jump out of gear over speed bumps with this setup -- which is why the factory used rubber in the first place.

Still a neat solution and looks like a quality part. Shame to hide it under an access plate.

Decided to add a splash of color throughout the car, so I decided to polish up some Billet parts & have them Anodized in Red.
