Began the build up with the front trunk area. Lots of NOS parts, Chrome, Billet, Stainless Steel and a whole lot of custom made pieces.

Yes, I painted the car L41 Black. The motor will be a Gene Berg 2110 with all the tricks. Stay tuned, the motor is scheduled to be fitted either tomorrow (Monday) or Tuesday. Here's a sneek peek at some of the parts-

I also added a throttle ring to the dogshroud. These rings are used on FI motors to add cooling by directing the airflow in a more direct manner.

what's the wheel in that first interior shot? I note in the second shot it morphed into a standard 3 spoke...

Also, Line lock for a 1776? Do I sense a hair dryer on said small mill?

Kicking ass on this build, keep it up.

That's just a stock fuel cap that I had Chromed. If you're interested, I may have another cap that I'd sell, but it's painted Silver.

It's a VDM wheel. Not sure of the actual model, but less than 5 known to exist. But there's good news, reproductions are available from CIP for about $300

Got to have the line lock for traffic light entertainment 8)

Since I'm running an early Porsche 356 steering column setup, I'm limited to steering wheel choices.

Got the engine installed & tuned! It's a 2110cc built by STP here in San Diego using everything from the Gene Berg parts catalog

Nice

I'm torn. I like that VDM repop as it's very unique, but I like the banjo too.

How do you like the black braided lines? Are they pretty easy to work with?
