When I got it, I knew it needed pans, but once I took the body off, I discovered that it needed heater channels as well. So, here I am a year later finishing it up and hope to get on the road by June at the latest.

It's very interesting to find a forum so specific to my beetle! I'm from Norfolk, VA and I have been into VWs since about 2002. I have a '66 Sunroof that I traded a '68 bus for. It is not stock. The P.O. converted it to 12 volt, has aftermarket fenders with bullet turn signals. I believe the doors are from an earlier beetle, but have one-piece windows with a dual lift system.
