The bottom plate of my tunnel has light surface corrosion so I would like to remove it, clean, treat, and reinstall it. Is there any reason to reconsider this? My concern is alignment after removing the panel. Both floor pans will be removed, suspension is off. I have seen posts of partial removal and repair, but not complete removal. Any recommendations, concerns? Thanks!
