doors???

i need to get a new drivers door for my 66, there are a pair of doors on ebay quite close to home that came off a 1970, they look the same but will they fit?? any help would be great.

thet may fit .but some 66 or all wer 1 year only and are like hens teath 2 find the 70s 1ns have different door pins on and different resseses behind the door handle.

My guess is that the 70 doors will not fit the 66, my guess is that all the associated hardware will be off. A suggestion would be to look on thesamba.com classified section - I see 66 doors for sale on there all the time - good luck!

Chugnut - Here is a link to a 66 door on ebay - he says it fits 52 - 66 (came from a 64 beetle):
