My Good Old 66 Restoration Project!

Finally a 66 beetle to restore,
These are just a few images on our progress so far.
This beetles originally bahama blue and thats our plan to get it back to,
Engine size is 1641 and the previous owner spent £600 on the engine. Before we bought this the previous owners had spent over £2900 on fancy accessories, roof rack, sun visor, chrome etc. and thankfully saved us a bomb! We paid £1200 for this and with a bit of tlc throughout the winter get this back to original.
