1966 beetle in southern california

Hi, folks - and, hello from sunny, Southern California.
Just picked up a '66 bug in awfully good condition. pan and undercarriage are virtually flawless. the wiring is kind of suspect, but the car is in otherwise solid condition and road worthy from the get go.

Still, it's been over 30 years since i've been away from the bug scene, and i welcome any and all suggestions during the infancy of restoring it to her original glory.
