Hi everyone? I'm Jorge and a happy(

) new owner of a 1966 vw beetle.
Im going to have lots of question. Since by bug came in pieces.
well not literary but somewhat. like fenders, windows, lights, engine, seats,ect..
The previous owner was working on it and he was doing a good job on it. but never got to finish it.
I would like to start the engine before i put it in. but i don't know how. can anyone help? or were do i post this matter?

Welcome! You are right in the heart of VW parts supply city!! I love Carcraft! They are in Corona. Awesome VW parts supplier!
Putting your motor in the car only takes 20 min and will be much easier then trying to start it out of car. You would need a transaxle bell housing with a starter bolted in it, a fuel supply, a battery just to try and start it out of car. But there has to be 10 shops there in corona where you can get it bench tested for 30 or 40 bucks! Hope this helps..
