i m trying to find a Switch for my beetle for the emergency brakes...i would like to know if possible the code of that item because on internet i find different ones..a photo would be helpful too

This is the part number on my 6v Emergency Flasher

111 953 225

Is yours still 6v?

I believe the original 66' flasher and signal relay was actually blue and many called it "the blue box" and it was plastic. They are are very hard to find and are temperamental and the part number is 66 specific and it's
4DB001882-01

I believe the on pictured above is an earlier one.

But this all may be for not since it's likely not 6V still.

you were right emergency flash switch...
