Recently purchased a '66 bug convertible to play with. She's drivable as is but needs some love and affection. Also the PO did some work on her and it was all poorly done so I am trying to correct that at the moment. I'm sure I will be on soon asking tons of questions. At the moment I'm trying to break the castle nuts off the rear brake drums without much sucess so I can a working parking brake.
About me, 30 y/o, active duty Air Force. Currently going to college as well. Married with two kids so beetle time is a bit limited. I've been begging for a new toy for a few years and finally got the OK to sell the truck and buy the beetle as long as I let her drive it too =)
