Hello everyone. I just bought a beautiful pearl white '66 this spring in Southern California. Did a road trip up the west coast with it in late May - early June, and now it's home with me in Homer, Alaska. This is my 5th Beetle, but my first since moving to Alaska in 1996. Very happy to be back. This is the nicest of the Beetles I've owned (a '75, '73 Super, '65, and '62).

My first car was a black 66 that I purchased for $600 back in 1972. I had it about three months then promptly totaled it. My next car was a 65 with a sunroof. It was the exact same color as your 66. Is the interior red?

SPOT ON looking ride mate, Ive just put some all red rear lenses on mine too, mad how a little thing like that makes such a difference??
