Bought this 1966 Kabriolett in Aug 2009 for my wife. I plan on doing a complete rebuild of it with a Resto-Custom touch

Thanks for the kind words. Getting ready to fit a narrowed beam & some new wheels....

Those s/s louvered runningboards & aftermarket bumpers will be put in the trash bin at the same time.

Installed a set of Wolfsburg West runningboards & some German bumpers (front & rear) along wit a set of Flat-4 BRMs. Rolling gear is finished off with a 3 3/4-inch narrowed beam fitted with 15x5 wrapped in 145x15s, rears are 15x6 wrapped in 205/65x15s

So what do you have hiding under the gray tarp in garage? Love your find by the way! Very cool.

Just two more junky old VWs. One's a 1947 sedan that has been restored. The other a 1956 Kabriolett I got from Sweden. The vert is still awaiting restoration Sad
