thought i would say hello my name is simon and i live just out side edinburgh in scotland. i own a 1962 beetle which is undergowing a restoration as and when ive got time to work on it

Great looking Bug! Welcome to the forum. Is it still working on 6 volt? The color reminds me of my 2nd VW, a 65 Type 1. I got reacquainted with a 66 Bug recently.

it has been changed to 12volts it also has a 1600 twin port engine
