My sea sand 66 in the paint shop

Post by scott66bug »

I have been anxiously waiting to get my car back from the paint shop. Today I got to go over and see it and look at a test spray of part of the door...essentially a color check. We thought the color tilted a bit too much to grey and away from sea-sand (a brown undertone I think) but the car look amazing to me so I thought I would share some pictures

you will get an idea of the color here

Looks nice - the last 66 I had was seasand and that is a great and somewhat rare color. I always found that it really could take on some different shades depending on the light. Hope the rest of the paint job goes well - make sure you come back and post some more pictures.

As I wait fro the paint, the engine is getting stripped down, all sheet metal painted and the main seal replaced. I will post pictures when I get back from paint and as I go putting it all back together...can't happen soon enough for me
