Hi I'm preparing to trailer the Bug from Rockford Illinois to Cleveland. how long and wide is a bug. The wheelbase is specd but not the length.

Hi. I see that you haven't yet had a reply. So I looked in my library and one VW book says that the car dimensions are L 4.064m, W 1.537m, H 1.499m. But please treat these measurements with caution as they may not be 100% for US vehicles. Hope this helps.Richard

Just measured my car. The width from the outside of the tires is 58 inches. The length from the outside of the tires is about 120 inches. Hope this helps.
