Removing the Gas Guage

Post by scott66bug »

I need some help. I need to remove the sending unit. It looks like a "brass colored" cap and I don't know how to take it off.

Any advice would be helpful

thank you

the cap pops off and the unit itself is removable by taking out the six or eight screws (can't remember how many) very simple job. the cap just attaches the cable to the gauge.
