Hello all,

I'm new here. I've just bought my second '66 Beetle. I bought my first one in '92 and had it for 11 years. It was Bahama Blue.

The latest '66 is the same colour (wonder what % were Bahama?), although a slightly later build.

Once the weather looks up, I'll get some pics taken and posted on here.

I look forward to sharing the highs and lows with you!

Hi Gary! Welcome to the Forum! Bahama blue is a great color, not sure how many of those were produced. I had a Sea Sand 66 before my current Sea Blue, and I would say that the Sea Sand color seems to be quite rare as well as the Bahama Blue (at least here in Wisconsin at the VW shows). Looking forward to your pictures!

Actually, I remember reading an article in an old copy of Foreign Car Guide that mentioned the percentage of cars sold by specific color. Light blue was most popular, with something like 30% of cars ordered in that color, with black being the rarest, with under 6%.
