Hello....glad to be a part of the Forum. I am 53 years old, live in San Antonio, Texas,.....and I have owned 2 1966 Beetles in the past. One was completely stock with the pop-out rear windows(great ventilation) and the other one had a few engine mods-ran great although the mileage was down a bit from what I thought it should be. I currently own a 1973 Beetle. I am thinking about TypeIV power for it ,as it isn't running right this minute. Nothing against Type 1 engines....but have been there and done that. Let's keep the air-cooled engines in the forefront of our hobby!! Thanks for letting me be a part!
