Vins, again

I am again debating on what to do on my 66, I have a good set of rear popouts that im debating whether or not to put them on, I was told via the vend you can find out if it came with popouts or not, if this is true, do you think anybody would actually run the vin to find this out/ care if they're on there?

The beetle birth certificate tells you all the options that were on the car including pop outs

I think I'll look into it, but do you think anyone would care if I put them on a car that originally didnt have them?

popouts were an option in 66.so they would be period correct,besides you and us would know the truth now
