1966 Camille

Bill and Camille bought a new 1966 bug in Pendleton, OR and Camille drove it from the farm to Le Grand to teach school.

I am the second owner on title and had to work with Bill and Camille to get the lost title with a long paid off car loan still registered at the DMV. I have had her since 2015 and started the restoration in 2018 when she moved to Central Oregon. I had the No Name Garage in Eugene replace the rear torsion bar to lift the rear end back to where it started in 1966. They also installed disc brakes and a later 2 chamber master cylinder and converted the bug to 12 volt. In 2021 it went in for paint and didn't come back until 2022 about when I was down for back surgery. In 2023 I am focused on getting her completed. The transaxle is in the shop and I am busy replacing ... just about everything.

Looks like you have a very good start. The paint job is beautiful! There really is a story behind every beetle.
