I am trying to separate the shift linkage coupler so I can pull the transmission on my Swing Axle bug. I have taken the set bolt all the way out, but the trans shaft is stuck in the coupler. I put into second gear and tried beating the shaft out with a drift but no luck so far. Any ideas.
