Hello all, a couple years ago I installed a 4” narrowed beam. All went pretty smoothly since this was my first major project on my 66. I did it over the winter time and had it ready for spring. Well all seemed good except for this awkward sounding “clunk” when going over bump. I have asked on other forums and have checked the following, shocks ball joints and any bushings steering box. All the bolts are tight and the body rubbers are installed. I took it to my local Vw guy and we put it on the lift and he could not find any problems. I am beginning to think that the noise has something to do with the four bolts that go through the beam. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any help you can provide. Josh
